Meet our Managing Director
Managing Director
Dr Maurizio Pilu is a technology leader with expertise in AI, emerging tech, and digital transformation. His career spans government, ventures, global R&D, and regulated industries. Formerly an AI research scientist at HP Laboratories and executive director at Digital Catapult, he also served as VP at Lloyd’s Register leading Industry 4.0 innovation, and co-founded and led Safetytech Accelerator. He holds a PhD in AI and an Executive MBA, is an IET Fellow, the inventor of over 20 US patents and the author of over 30 scientific papers. He has served on several boards and currently consults with executives and leaders on AI and technology transformation.
